DETAILED PROCEDURES
It is important to follow the booking procedures. Travellers and property owners may seek clarification from the Free & Easy product manager at anytime.

BUYING FREE & EASY VOUCHERS

• 1 Free & Easy Voucher = 1 Room only for 1 Night
  
• Vouchers are valid for the period 01 November – 31 October of each year.
  
• Dates block out from travelling: 15 December 2009 to 15 January 2010; 1 – 4 April 2010; 4 June 2010 to 14 July 2010.
  
• Plan desired route, then select number of nights required.
  
• It is advisable to buy one Free & Easy Voucher per 2 adults sharing.
  
• Children under the age of 11 may be allowed to share a room with 2 adults.
  
• Purchase the number of vouchers necessary

• Only the first night’s accommodation may be pre-booked well in advance, if required. (Bear in mind that this is still at the property’s discretion)
  
• Guests receive their travel documentation from the collection points in Sandton | Cape Town | Durban as selected and arranged at time of purchase.
  
• Travellers make all bookings directly with the listed properties in the Guide – a maximum of 3 days prior to stay.
  
• Enquire on their availability as a Free & Easy Voucher carrying traveller.
  
• Free & Easy availability is at the property’s discretion and according to their last minute availability.
  
• Credit card details to be supplied for room guarantee
  
• Enquire on family room options and child policy at time of booking with the individual property.
  
• Standard check-in is between 14h00 and 17h00 – advise of late check-in at time of booking.
  
• There is no minimum or maximum stay restriction.

PAYMENTS AT FREE & EASY ACCOMMODATION

• On arrival, hand in the original Free & Easy Vouchers received, valid per room only per night.
  
• All extras such as extra beds, child supplements, all meals, tourism levies, activities and services are to be settled directly before departure.
  
• TIO cannot be held responsible for the incorrect number of vouchers collected from guests or for any extras not paid on departure.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS

• Properties reserve the right to claim 100% cancellation fee for no-shows at their individual public rate.
  
• TIO cannot be held responsible for any cancellation fees.
  
• Unused, original valid Free & Easy Vouchers are refundable at the place of issue and subject to R500 administration fee.
  
• Lost vouchers are not refundable.
