All accommodation is offered on a room only basis, giving you the opportunity to only pay for breakfast when you need it and to explore the variety of restaurants.

DETAILED PROCEDURES
It is important to follow the booking procedures. It is very important to enquire on availability as a TDM PASS traveller when making bookings at participating TDM PASS properties.

BUYING TDM PASS VOUCHERS

• 1 TDM PASS Voucher = 1 Room only for 1 Night
  
• TDM PASS Vouchers are valid for the period 01 November – 31 October of each year.
  
• South Africa’s Festive and Easter seasons are blocked out from travelling.
  
• Plan desired route, then select number of nights required.
  
• It is advisable to buy one TDM PASS Voucher per 2 adults sharing.
• Children under the age of 11 may be allowed to share a room with 2 adults.
  
• Purchase the number of vouchers necessary from your agent / Welcome Tourism Services / Your Africa / SST / Focus Tours / res@tourvestdm.com (they will arrange documentation collection and assist with any other travel arrangements for your self drive holiday in South Africa.)

• Only the first night’s accommodation may be pre-booked well in advance by your agent, if required. (Bear in mind that this is still at the property’s discretion)
• Guests receive their travel documentation from the collection points as arranged at time of purchase.
• Travellers make all bookings directly with the listed properties in the TDM PASS Guide – a maximum of 3 days (72hrs) prior to stay.
• Enquire on their availability as a TDM PASS traveller.
• TDM PASS availability is at the property’s discretion and according to their last minute availability.
• Credit card details to be supplied for room guarantee.
• Enquire on family room options and child policy at time of booking with the individual property. (Children 12yrs and older are adults)
• Standard check-in is between 14h00 and 18h00 – advise of late check-in at time of booking.
• There is no minimum or maximum stay restriction.

PAYMENTS AT TDM PASS ACCOMMODATION

• On arrival, hand in the original TDM PASS vouchers, valid per room only per night.
• All extras such as extra beds, child supplements, all meals, tourism levies, activities and services are to be settled directly before departure.
• Tourvest Destination Management cannot be held responsible for the incorrect number of vouchers collected from guests or for any extras not paid on departure.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS

• Properties reserve the right to claim 100% cancellation fee for no-shows at their individual public rate.
• Tourvest Destination Management cannot be held responsible for any cancellation fees.
• If the first night’s pre-booking is amended after confirmation, R100 administration fee becomes payable to place of purchase.
• Unused, original valid TDM PASS vouchers are refundable at the place of purchase and subject to the original voucher value per refunding transaction.
• Lost vouchers are not refundable.

TDM PASS DOCUMENTATION

• You will receive TDM PASS vouchers and the TDM PASS Guide with listed properties.
